IFA 2015. Asus. New Releases ROG, Zen AiO S, VivoStick

I decided to divide the presentation into two parts, the first spoke about the company's smartphones and tablets, the second - about computers and the line of ROG.

Asus Zen AiO S

We do not have time in the past generation Asus announced its candy bar in Taipei, as there was an updated version. The most important change in the Zen AiO S - is, of course, increase the screen resolution up to 4K. What can I say - the difference can be seen with the naked eye. The picture on the screen looks very clear, fonts are smooth, even the smallest letters perfectly distinguishable. I've had to deal with 4K monitors and I can safely say that it's just a joy for your eyes.

Toppings are largely similar, except that the internal storage capacity increased.

On sale will be two versions of the candy bar, one easier and one more expensive, but both of them will be equipped with the same display. Below you can see the differences in characteristics, they will deal with the chipset and the volume of RAM and internal memory.

As for the low-end model, the 1000 Euro seems to me quite a good offer, do not forget that now 4K monitors are sold at 40 000-50 000. But to pay for the high-end model, I would not, no performance gain is 50% surcharge. And, of course, a little bit surprised by such a rapid update of Zen AiO, uchityaya that with the announcement of the first generation has passed only three months.

Router Asus RT AC-5300U

To be honest, this router is called I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, it looks impressive, as well as all product line ROG, and on the other - a little comical. Let me explain why: one antenna on the router looks appropriate, for two or three more, plus or minus justified, but nine! Nine antennas at the same time! However, this antenna required for dual-band Wi-Fi, which has a smaller range and, in theory, they have to compensate for this deficiency, but how it actually - who knows. The manufacturer promises a top speed of up to 5.3 Gbit / s, which in theory allows to stream especially heavy content from your networked storage.

Asus VivoStick

Another innovation displayed at the presentation was the HDMI-stick. Unlike most competitors, Asus managed to add the not one but two USB-ports and a little "play" with the design. Responsible for the performance chipset Intel Cherry Trail, amount of RAM - 2 GB and internal - 32 GB. Dimensions of new items - 138 x 34 x 15 mm and weighs 70 grams. The sale VivoStick should arrive at a price of 129 dollars.

Asus ROG GX700

The new performance notebook companies on the basis of fresh chipset Intel Skylake, having a resolution of 4k at a diagonal of 17 inches. On the other characteristics of the information yet, but one curious detail. This laptop you can buy a special water cooling system that allows to use it at full power without the risk of overheating. To be honest, the decision seems strange, considering that the laptop - it's still a compact device.

Swift PG348Q

I could not fail to mention the gorgeous display with a diagonal of 34 inches, curved matte display and a resolution of 3440h1440 points. The picture on it looks just awesome, right eyes do not tear. Here, however, no details about the price or delivery date yet.

The Asus is already the second exhibition in a row shows a huge number of new products, and not just new products, but the really interesting models, many of them I would love to have tested right now, the same new AiO S or HDMI-stick, but even the router arouses curiosity for its nine dual-band antennas.
