Panasonic has introduced an analog turntable for vinyl records with direct drive technology

The Japanese company Panasonic introduced at the IFA International 2015 in Berlin a prototype analog turntable for vinyl records with a new direct drive technology Direct Drive. The production model Technics player to appear on the market in 2016.

As noted in the company, conventional analog players sometimes make decline in the quality of sound due to minor changes in the vibration motor and the rotor speed. To solve this problem, Panasonic has developed a new motor with a direct transfer of the rotation system and prevent any, even the smallest vibration. New motor technology and electronic controls are designed to reproduce the sound of vinyl records, taking into account all the nuances of the original recording.
